ESTATE GROWN.
SINGLE VINEYARD.
our wine.
Matured in a combination of French and American oak for 18 months.
Our wine is handpicked and fermented with wild yeast and partial whole bunches.
During fermentation, the must is gently hand plunged and then basket pressed to maintain the structure of the wine. The wine is then aged in mature barrels using a combination of French and American oak for 18 months before racking and bottling.
Hand picked from our east facing vineyard. Basket pressed and matured in a mixture of old and new French oak. Vibrant and fresh, deep colour with purple hues. Maraschino cherry, toasty oak with dark chocolate spice. Persistent length with good acidity and drive. Drinking well, tannins may evolve as the wine matures.

our vineyard
Our east facing vineyard comprises 3 acres of Shiraz from 2 distinctively different clones, an old Tahbilk and old Barossa clone which each provides its own distinct character to our wine. The old Tahbilk clone is more fruit driven with vibrant colour whilst the old Barossa clone provides structure and depth.
Following a pre planting program of deep ripping and soil nutrition, we established our vineyard in 2012 and 2014. With the support of viticulturist Tim Brown, our foundation years were focused on vine structure and development which is now paying off. The vines are now producing quality fruit driven by a meticulous pruning and shoot thinning program to maintain low yields.
Whilst not organically certified, we have adhered to organic principles since 2015.
